What is Subcis?
Subcis (صُبْعِس) helps Muslims worldwide memorize the Quran together through live audio circles. Join brothers and sisters in reciting, or create private circles with friends and family.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join a circle?
Tap "Find a Circle" on the home screen. You'll be matched with others who are also looking to recite. Once enough people join (2-5), your session will start automatically.
How do I create a private circle?
Tap "Start Private Circle" on the home screen. You'll get a 6-letter code to share with friends and family. They can join by entering this code.
Why can't I hear anyone?
Make sure your microphone permission is enabled for Subcis in your device settings. Also check that your device isn't on silent mode and the volume is up.
How long are sessions?
Each session is 20 minutes. This keeps sessions focused and allows more people to participate throughout the day.
Can I join a circle of the opposite gender?
Random matching is gender-separated to respect Islamic guidelines. Private circles (using codes) can include anyone you choose to invite.
I was removed from a circle. Why?
The host can remove participants who are disruptive or inappropriate. If you were removed, you cannot rejoin that specific session. Please ensure you follow proper etiquette.
Is my voice recorded?
No. Subcis never records your voice. Audio is transmitted live to other participants only and is never stored on any server.
Why do I see "Servers at Capacity"?
This means many people are using Subcis at the same time. Please try again in a few minutes. Consider donating to help us add more server capacity.
How can I support Subcis?
Subcis is free and relies on donations to cover server costs. You can donate via Ko-fi at ko-fi.com/ahmedoogle. JazakAllahu Khayran!
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings → Reset All Data. This will clear your name, gender selection, and recent circles. Alternatively, simply delete the app from your device.
Report an Issue
If you experience any of the following, please email us with details:
- Inappropriate behavior from other users
- Technical bugs or crashes
- Suggestions for improvement
- Any other concerns
When reporting, please include:
- Your device model (e.g., iPhone 15)
- What happened and when
- The circle code (if applicable)
Session Etiquette
To ensure a positive experience for everyone:
- Be respectful and patient with all reciters
- Take turns and encourage others
- Keep background noise to a minimum
- Do not use inappropriate language
- Be mindful that participants may be at different levels
- Remember: we're all here to learn and help each other

- iOS: iOS 14.0 or later
- Permissions: Microphone access required
- Internet: Stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection recommended
- Audio: Headphones or earbuds recommended for better quality
Privacy & Data
🔒 Your privacy is important:
- Voice is never recorded or stored
- Only your chosen name and gender are saved locally
- No personal information is shared with other users
- Circle codes are temporary and expire after sessions
